We are looking for a seasoned marketer with a passion for building great brands to meet consumer needs. This role will help shape key priorities for the ForChics hair growth business (lash serums, hair serums, brow serums, etc.) in the US, our hero category for the ForChics business in our biggest market. You will live and breathe our brand and business, and help power its growth so ultimately consumers know us, join us, stay loyal to us, and advocate for us. 

You should have a track record of strong brand building through meaningful storytelling, groundbreaking campaigns, and effective marketing.


  1. Brand strategy, including the setting of storytelling, style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term
  2. Translating brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  3. Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
  4. Assisting with product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities
  5. Maintain product branding across all channels
  6. Carrying out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends
  7. Developing strategies and managing marketing campaigns across print, broadcast and online platforms to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of brands
  8. Supervising advertising, product design and other forms of marketing to maintain consistency in branding
  9. Organising and planning for possible exhibitions and photo shoots.
  10. Manages product portfolio ensuring that all product launches are strategic, sustainable, addressing market demands, and strengthening the brands’ positioning
  11. Directs the PR agency in developing and executing PR plans for the brands’ key launches and reanimations to increase brand awareness and strengthen brand credibility

6 Month Expectations

- Be the go-to expert for all things hair growth
- Deeply understand our target consumer’s evolving behaviors, emotions and needs in the space, and bring customer centric perspective to everything we do
- Stay connected to emerging category trends, broader cultural trends, competitor dynamics and translate those insights into “so what’s” for ForChics 
- Lead brand marketing, strategy, messaging, content, PR and social media – growing and empowering a dynamic internal team and fostering relationships with external partners
- Partner across the organization on key cross-functional initiatives that will drive the growth of the business including new product launches, leading go-to-market strategy and execution
- Help the team identify the right partnerships for ForChics across product, content, influencers, and celebrity while constantly evolving our partnerships strategy based on learnings and trends
- Grow ForChics social media presence and set the foundational strategy for the brand to expand across channels 

    12 Month Expectations

    - Own department SOPs, vision, goals, and budget, ensuring the team is supported and successful in bringing all initiatives to life
    - Lead all reporting on brand initiatives, delivering campaign effectiveness metrics to push business growth and brand recognition
    - Oversee all advertising creative strategy and development across paid channels, partnering with the acquisition team to scale media efficiently and unlock new opportunities for customer growth 
    - Lead PR and comms planning to continue to secure big brand pieces, build credibility through product features and awards, and keep ForChics top of mind 
    - Direct the ongoing development of ForChics brand POV, translating it into mission-driven work that drives brand love and advocacy and continues to garner international press and social virality
    - Be a steward of the brand internally and externally, ensuring all channels and departments are working toward the same brand vision and ForChics’ personality comes across in everything we do


      - Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
      - Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
      - Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
      - Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind

      - Outstanding communication skills
      - Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
      - Degree in marketing or a related field
      - 3+ years in brand management or marketing
      - +1 year marketing experience in skincare or related industry
      - Strong marketing / brand management toolkit (positioning, campaign development, on-brand messaging and asset development)
      - Strong understanding of digital marketing & consumer products
      - Relevant beauty/skin care industry experience a plus
      - Experience with creating strong go-to-market strategies for new product launches
